Roy Orbison Tribute Barry Steele

When Roy Orbison died in 1988, it was left to others to bring his music to the concert stage. No easy task. But Barry Steele and his Black and White Knights come with very good credentials and a genuine admiration of the Big O.

Just imagine it is the 30th of September 1987 and Roy Orbison is in the Coconut Grove Nightclub in Los Angeles recording the sensational Black and White Night. Relive this golden evening as Barry Steele effortlessly transports you back to what was arguably one of Roy Orbison's greatest performances.

Barry Steele who portrays Roy Orbison has toured extensively across the UK and New Zealand, he is currently touring the UK in the hit show "Rockin on Heavens Door."
He has been described by the stage newspaper as Brilliant and is bringing his own show "The Roy Orbison Tribute Show" to the Swan Theatre Worcestor on the 10th NOvember 2007.

Opening this night of nostalgia will be David Steele from the theatre production of Les Miserable's who will be opening the show with hits from the musicals.

Barry and the band are very excited to be performing at the Palace as both Barry and David (yes they are brothers) are from the west midlands. Barry and the band will be delivering all the classics from "Oobie Doobie" "I drove all night" and Oh! Pretty Woman, through to hits from The Travelling wilburys, all in the style of one of Roy's most famous shows "The black and white night."
